About Steve

Steve Murlin is a Retirement Plan Consultant at Everhart Advisors. Steve has nearly 40 years of experience in the employer-sponsored retirement plan industry, including investment fiduciary services, participant advisory services, as well as plan design and administration.

Prior to joining Everhart Advisors, Steve was an Executive Vice President of the Smith Barney K-Group and a member of the advisory committee for CitiStreet Retirement Services. Steve also served as a Vice President and Principal of Meeks & Company, an actuarial and employee benefit consulting firm, where he was a Senior Pension Consultant designing and administering hundreds of employer-sponsored plans. 

Steve has earned numerous professional designations in the pension industry from such organizations as the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, The American College of Financial Planning, and the Center for Fiduciary Studies.

Steve Murlin is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), illustrating knowledge and competency in fiduciary studies, as well as a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®). Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton with a specialization in accounting.
