In June 2017, Brian and firm president and CEO, Scott Everhart, authored and released The 401(k) Owner’s Manual: A Blueprint for Building and Maintaining an Elite 401(k) Plan for Your Employees. 2018 PLANSPONSOR Retirement Plan Adviser Mega Team of the Year by PLANADVISER magazine.  This national award recognizes advisers who demonstrate leadership and commitment to excellence for their retirement plan sponsor clients and participants. PLANSPONSOR Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year

Qualifying advisers had to have significant business revenue derived from employer-sponsored retirement plans; serve as a fiduciary; have regular service delivery and client contact; be committed to fee-based compensation; and use specific outcome-based metrics of plan success with clients with recognized client progress toward those metrics.

We nominated ourselves and submitted an application for this award. Everhart Advisors was not required to belong to an organization, or subscribe to a magazine service to be eligible. We did not pay a fee to participate in the award. We did pay to use the award logo and PDF reprints to advertise the award. The number of applicants for this award was undisclosed. The PLANADVISER staff selected the winners. One award was given in the Mega Team Category.
