Within our very entrepreneurial-minded group, Steve is the one focused inward, the caretaker of the organization, the one who watches over the firm and makes sure everything is done the way it should be.
A transplant from Pittsburgh where he was repeatedly recognized as a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer,” Steve serves the team as in-house counsel, taking care of business operations. His dry sense of humor might catch you off-guard the first time, but then, like the rest of the team, you’ll look forward to how he uses it to lighten the atmosphere and put people at ease.
Steve is thorough and persuasive, so when he gets involved in a situation, he makes sure everyone focuses on the issue at hand, understands what is at stake, knows how to proceed to ensure compliance and accomplish the desired outcome.
Prior to joining Everhart Advisors in 2015, Steven practiced as a commercial lawyer for more than 20 years, representing individual investors, registered representatives, and some of the nation’s largest investment houses in securities-related matters. He left private practice to become the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for a medical services firm.
